Happy National Health Center Week!
Every August, we celebrate and increase awareness of America’s 1,400 Community Health Centers (CHCs) during National Health Center Week (NHCW). This week is opportunity to highlight the commitment and passion of Community Health Center teams, board members, and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to more than 31.5 million patients across nearly 15,000 communities annually.
St. Jude Neighborhood Health’s Community Health Workers joined the OC Coalition at their Community Health and Resource Fair in honor of National Health Center Week. At this event, our caregivers received certificates of recognition from members of the California State Senate for their commitment to providing quality, affordable, ad comprehensive are for Orange County residents. St. Jude Neighborhood Health was also recognized by the County of Orange for the work our organization does to improve the health and well-being of low-income residents in Orange County.
